G.V.School for handicapped was started by G Vagheesam Pillai Trust. The school was originally started in a house donated by a well wisher and now it has its own building. The land was donated by another well wisher and the school built using donations from the public. The children are given education, training and therapies necessary for them free of cost. Milk, biscuits, lunch are provided free. The funds are provided by the G Vagheesam Pillai Trust memebers and some public donations. The cost of maintence and rehabilitation of one child is 15,000 rupees per year. Huge funds are needed to extend the building and run the institution. You can help us in several ways. You can sponsor a child for a year. Buy the products (Incense Sticks, Envelopes, Greeting Cards, Dolls, Disinfectants) prepared by our children. You can sponsor treatment and so on.
