Our vision is to rehabilitate children with special needs, integrate them  in the society and make them self reliant.

The school is located in Chidambaram (Tamil Nadu, India), the Temple Town and is free for all the students.  Started in 1990 with 2 children, today we have over 90 including children from the rural areas in the Cuddalore District.

G V School has two divisions, one for the mentally handicapped and the other for the hearing impaired.

G.V.School for the Mentally Handicapped
Children with mental handicap are identified, grouped and given simulation and education, for them to lead an independent life. Appropriate medical and psychological help along with Speech and Physiotherapy are provided. Currently there are 42 children.

R.N.Suseela School for the Hearing Impaired
The children with hearing impairement are provided with medical check up to provide them with hearing aids. Special focus is given in Auditory training, Speech training and reading. Apart from this the children are taught the regular school syllabi. Based upon the student's lisitening power the children can be integrated in the regular schools. Currently, there are 52 children.
